Our Story Our Mission

Medical Orthopedic Management (MOM) was created with a clear mission: to give physician practices access to the kind of leadership, strategy, and structure usually reserved for large organizations—without the burden of a full-time executive salary.

Too often, practices face a gap. They need seasoned guidance to navigate complex regulations, strengthen operations, and position themselves for growth, yet they cannot justify hiring a full-time COO or senior administrator. MOM bridges that gap by delivering executive-level expertise in a flexible, scalable way.

Our Inspiration

MOM was born from a simple truth: most medical practices need high-level leadership, but few can afford a full-time executive.

Throughout my career, I met countless physicians who said, “We’d love to have someone like you—but we can’t afford a full-time COO.” Yet, they described exactly the kind of operational, compliance, and growth challenges I could solve.

That pattern sparked an idea: what if I could provide the same expertise and structure that large healthcare organizations rely on, but in a fractional, results-focused model?


That’s how Medical Orthopedic Management was created — and the name “MOM” came from my son, who instantly recognized how well it reflected the nurturing yet disciplined leadership style that defines my work.

She is known for her ability to bridge strategy and execution — guiding organizations through growth, operational restructuring, and successful private equity transactions. Wendy has:
